Breedplan
Belmont Australia offers a unique database which includes other African Tropical Composites including Bonsmaras and Senepols. Belmont Australia has adjusted its breed codes to include foundation breed percentages so it can accommodate not only Belmont based composites, but also non-Belmont purebreds in the BREEDPLAN analysis.
The Belmont Australia database is called the ‘ Belmont Red and Tropical Composite’ register in BREEDPLAN. It can be accessed via the link on this page (select the Breedplan logo).
The Belmont Red and Tropical composite register (BRTC) now has representations from breeds including Brahman, Droughtmaster, Angus, Limousin, Shorthorn, Tuli and Boran.
Belmont Australia welcomes composite cattle to be recorded in the BRTC register and have their data analysed in the GROUP BREEDPLAN analysis.
